CAROUSEL or how we became 15% more interesting, but only to ourselves

https://kcca.timepad.ru/event/3902173/ The carousel motif is a marker close to the rhetoric of the association. These are both the traditional parasitic round dances at openings, and a series of quickly laughing corridor exhibitions (every two weeks), and an endless stream of “recruits” (with the main group composition unchanged). The exhibition "Carousel or How We Became 15% More Interesting, but Only to Ourselves" is a snapshot of the Parazit association's activity as of April 2026. Not a fixation of a fragment, but a visualization of what Parazit is today. The Parazit association is one of the oldest and most vivid creative initiatives in St. Petersburg. It is a kind of laboratory where a key approach is realized: adapting to any conditions and spaces, "parasitizing" on the body of cultural institutions. Curators: Elizaveta Ivanova, Ksenia Makarenko, and 15% Semen Motolyanets and Sasha Nefedova-Glayzer. Exhibition participants: Vladimir Kozin, Semyon Motolyanez, Ili and Pavlov, Kolya Sadovnik, Deus ExCavator (Kerim Ragimov and Petr Shvetsov), Ksenia Makarenko, Igor Yanovsky, Sofya Grigoryeva, Stas Kazimov, Dima Zheravov, Elizaveta Ivanova, Yulia Ribetki, Emilia Sangi, Sasha Nefedova-Glayer, Yulia Mortis, Katarina Kano, Lina Kordyuchenko, Tatyana Pole, Zina Nikolaeva, Alexander Malyshkin, Vera Svetlova
